What the operator claims

Original text, the page structure, and the placeholder artwork shipped with Indie Wiki Hub are owned by the site operator unless a page names a different author. The sample guides and items were written for this template.

What the operator does not claim

Game titles, characters, logos, music, and in-game assets belong to their respective owners. Mentioning a game to describe how it works is not a claim of ownership. If a later revision quotes or reproduces material from a game, that page should say so and should stay within what the law allows where the site is published.

Sample content

The guides and items in the first build are fiction used to exercise the wiki. They are not copied from a commercial game, and they are not official strategy text. Replace them before you present the site as a reference for a real title.

How to send a notice

If you believe a page uses your work in a way the law does not allow, email hello@example.com with:

  1. Your name and a way to reach you.
  2. The URL of the page, and a short description of the work you own.
  3. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, the owner’s agent, or the law.
  4. A statement that the notice is accurate, and that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

The operator’s target is to review a complete notice within 10 business days. That timing is a template commitment, not a statutory deadline, and you should change it if your process is different.

Counter-notice

If your page was removed because of a notice and you believe the removal was a mistake, reply to the same address. Include the URL, a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction you actually operate under. The template does not invent a court.

Repeat problems

The operator may refuse material that keeps drawing valid notices. There is no public upload path on this site, so that decision is about pages the operator publishes.
