This policy describes Indie Wiki Hub, a static website. The operator does not run user accounts, comments, or a newsletter. Replace the operator name, contact address, and this date before the site is public, and have the page reviewed for the places you actually publish it.

Who we are

The site operator publishes Indie Wiki Hub. For this template the contact address is hello@example.com. There is no separate data-protection officer.

Pages you request

The site is a set of files. Opening a page does not create an account and does not send the page contents to an application database operated by this site.

Hosting

The intended host is Cloudflare. Cloudflare receives the IP address, user agent, and URL of requests it serves, and keeps logs as part of operating the network. That processing is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Search

Search is provided by Pagefind. The index is downloaded by your browser and the query runs on your device. This site does not operate a search server and does not receive the text you type into the search box.

Advertising

Advertising is off in the default build. When the operator enables Google AdSense, Google may set or read cookies, and may use data about your visits to show and measure ads. That includes personalized ads if your Google settings allow them. Google describes this in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

You can control personalized ads in Google ad settings. When ads are enabled, the site also publishes an ads.txt file so buyers can confirm who is allowed to sell inventory here. The file at the root of this template contains a placeholder publisher ID, not a live account.

The development server does not load the AdSense script. A production build loads it only when ads are explicitly enabled and a non-placeholder publisher ID is present.

Cookies

The site itself does not set a login cookie or an analytics cookie. If AdSense is enabled, Google’s cookies are the ones to expect. Hosting providers may use strictly necessary cookies to deliver traffic and mitigate abuse.

Children

The site is a general-audience game reference. It is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from them. There is no account to register.

Changes

When this policy changes, the “last updated” line at the top of the page changes with it. The sitemap lastmod for this URL is that same date, not the time the site was built.
