Getting started

How this wiki is organized, and what to replace when the real game is chosen.

This wiki is a static reference, not a forum. Pages are written by editors and published with the site. There is no edit button on the page you are reading.

The sample game is an unnamed action RPG. The genre, in broad terms, is an action role-playing game: you move and fight in real time, and character growth sits beside that combat. Everything numeric on the sample pages was invented for the template.

Two kinds of pages

Guides explain a system. Combat basics is the sample: what the loop is supposed to feel like, and which other pages it depends on.

Items are single entries with a stable shape. A weapon page names the role of the weapon, lists placeholder stats, and points back at the guide that explains those stats.

Both kinds of page show an updated date and a set of tags. The date is the last time an editor changed the substance of the page. A rebuild of the website does not move it.

What is not here

Drafts exist in the repository so an editor can preview unfinished notes. They are not part of the production site, the sitemap, or search.

This site is not affiliated with a studio. If a name, a move, or a number later describes a real game, it still is not an official guide unless the page says so.
